Diane Berends

Diane L. Berends, age 65, of Fairfield St., Jamestown, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 in UPMC Hamot. She was born in Sharon, PA on November 22, 1958 to Arden and Alice (Mizner) Saul.

Diane was a 1976 graduate of Reynolds High School. She enjoyed basking in the sun, fishing, and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. On May 12, 2006 she married Mitchell A. Berends, he survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Alycn Willey and her husband Taylor of Greenville, a son, Kevin Brown and his wife Catherine of Canonsburg, her mother, Alice Gabany of Transfer, a sister Donna Saul and her husband Stephen Damph of Rotonda, FL, two brothers, Ken Saul and his wife Lori and Kevin Saul, all of Greenville and four grandchildren, Hunter, Henley, Aidan and Carter. She was preceded in death by her father and step-father Joseph Gabany.

Per Diane’s wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
