Dolores Wertz

Dolores A. “Dee” Wertz, age 85, of W. Windridge Rd., Hempfield Twp., passed away Tuesday morning, February 6, 2024 in UPMC Mercy Hospital. She was born in Oil City, PA on April 8, 1938 to Joseph A. and Rose M. (Schiffer) Dolecki.

Dee was a graduate of Oil City High School. She was a Homemaker and also worked as a care giver to the Child’s Family for many years. Dee was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville. In 1965, she married William J. Wertz, he preceded her in death in 1977. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly J. Campbell and her husband Dave of Greenville, a sister, Mary Jo Dolecki of Greenville, two brothers, Ronald Dolecki and his wife Linda of Maryland and Eugene Dolecki and his wife Suzanne of Florida and two grandchildren, Ryan Campbell and Logan Campbell. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, with Father Brandon Kleckner, Pastor of the church as celebrant. Burial will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery.

High St., Greenville, PA 16125 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
