Donald L. Myers, age 84, of Fredonia Rd., Hempfield Twp., passed away surrounded by his family Tuesday afternoon, April 16, 2024 in UPMC Horizon Shenango Valley. He was born in Greenville on January 10, 1940 to Harold and Dorothy (Kirkner) Myers.

Don was a graduate of Jamestown High School and had been employed for 30 years as a clerk at the Bessemer & Lake Erie R.R. He was of the Catholic faith and was a past member of the Greenville Italian Home Club. Don was an avid golfer, recording two hole in ones, was a longtime member of the Bessemer League at Tam O’ Shanter Golf Course and had played annually for many years in the Make-A-Wish Golf Outing. In addition, he enjoyed trips to the casino and spending time with his family.

On March 4, 1970, Don married the former Frances M. “Fluff” Semroc, she survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Donna L. “Sis” Durney of Greenville and Anissa D. Greenfield and her husband Craig of Pittsburgh, a son Pete L. Myers of Greenville; four grandchildren, Tiffany Alvarez, Ashlee Foster, Jack Greenfield and Allie Greenfield and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Bateman and Sofia Alvarez. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mary Lou McCann and three brothers, Robert, Raymond and Mike Myers.
