Donald E. Richardson, age 84, of Keck St., Greenville, passed away Sunday morning, March 16, 2025, in his residence.

He was born in Latrobe, PA on November 28, 1940 to Donald W. and Mathilda (Cassen) Richardson and had served in the U. S. Army. Don had been employed at Greenville Bowling Center for 49 years, retiring in 2018.

He was an avid Star Trek fan and enjoyed bowling, woodworking, birdwatching, and spending time with his family.

On August 20, 1990, Don married the former Joanne L. Scrivens; she survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Raymond E. (Catherine) Richardson of Greenville; a stepson Larry (Laurie) Reigleman of Greenville; a stepdaughter, Chris Unger of Greenville; a sister, Joan (William) Roberts of Greenville; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Wendy R. Richardson; and an infant granddaughter, Madeline Richardson.

Services:

Private Family Services will be held on Wednesday, 3/19/25, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville, with Rev. Brenda Martin, Pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Greenville VFW Post #3374 Honor Guard will render military honors at the conclusion of the service. Burial will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation, 5757 Waterford District Dr. Suite 310 Miami, FL 33126.
