Donna Wimer

Donna M. Wimer, age 76, of Apache Dr. Jamestown, PA passed away early Saturday morning, October 21, 2023 in her residence. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on May 14, 1947 to John and Winifred (Bates) Metcalfe.

Donna was employed as a machine operator for over twenty-five years at the former Garvin Industries in Adamsville. She enjoyed watching and rooting for the Pittsburgh sports teams, camping at Camperland in Conneaut Lake and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On March 17, 1993 she married Fred M. Wimer, he survives. Also surviving is her daughter; Keri Bankston (Scott) of Andover, OH, two sons; Robert Leyden (Heidi) of N. Chesterfield, VA and Billy Riggs (Krystal) of Seffner, FL; two sisters, Kathy Metcalfe of Keeseville, NY and Nancy Metcalfe of Gulfport, FL; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Sharon McIlmoil and Joanne Metcalfe and two brothers; Ted Metcalfe and John Metcalfe.

Cremation was chosen and all services are being held privately and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Jamestown VFW Post #5424, 205 Liberty St., Jamestown, PA 16134.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
