Doris Ostermeyer

Doris J. Ostermeyer, age 89, of E. Lake Rd., Jamestown, passed away Monday evening, April 15, 2024. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 21, 1934 to Fred Henry and Amelia (Minnich) Miller.

Doris was a graduate of Allegheny High School and had attended Carlow College. As a Homemaker, she was a gardener, belonging to the Herbtymers Gardening Club in Jamestown and she also enjoyed collecting antiques. On May 3, 1958 she married Richard R. Ostermeyer, he passed away February 10, 2013.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lewis of West Mifflin; a son, Robert R. Ostermeyer and his wife Amy of Portersville; three grandchildren, Tanya, Natalie and Luke, two great-grandchildren, Lila and Lola and her dear friends, Amber and Lisa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a grandson, Hans Ostermeyer.

Per Doris’s wishes, Private Funeral Services are being held in Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown, with Pastor David Miles, officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
