Dorothy “Dot” Lee (Peake) Lucas, age 83, of Greenville passed away Friday morning, April 16, 2021 in St. Paul's Senior Living Community after a short illness surrounded by family.

She was born in Ivanhoe, VA on February 12, 1938 a daughter of William F. and Mazie V. Peake. Dorothy grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland. She met her first husband in Catonsville, MD. James N. Condo, who passed away on January 15, 1998. She married her second husband in Houston, Texas, William Lucas, who passed away July 6, 2004. Dorothy was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Her children are, Gary W. Peake and his girlfriend Judy, a daughter Deborah A. Kimmel (Condo) and her husband Raymond L. Kimmel. Grandchildren are, Holly L. Sillaman, Brandon R.G. Kimmel and his fiancee Bahar Keshtkar. Great grandchildren are, Damiana A. Landfried (French) her fiancee Tristan VanOrman, Keagan A. Landfried, Calee A. Kimmel, Mei Li Peyton Kimmel and twins, Archer and Evelyn due in August 2021 (parents are Bahar and Brandon). One great great grandchild, Ella VanOrman. Dot or Dottie as friends and family knew her has two living sisters, Connie V. Peake and Josephine “Jo” Pullian.

Dorothy was an avid crocheter, she was well known in the Greenville area as the lady who crocheted lap blankets for the elderly in the nursing homes and hospitals. She also crocheted baby blankets for the surrounding hospitals in the Mercer County area. Dorothy's favorite actor and movie was Clark Cable and Gone with the wind. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband's, four brother's, William “Willy” Peake, Irvin “Buddy” Peake, Franklin “Frankie” Peake, Joseph “Joe” Peake, a sister, Helen (Faye) Barth.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 3871 E. State St., Hermitage, PA 16148.
