Dr. Robert M. Woods, age 87, formerly of Greenville, passed away Thursday evening, March 14, 2024. He was born in McKeesport, PA on August 16, 1936 to Bernard and Wanda (Ciemnieki) Woods.

Dr. Woods was a graduate of Linesville High School, received his B.S. from Alliance College and in 1965 graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Doctor of Dental Surgery. He was the owner/operator of Lakeland Dental, with locations in Greenville, Jamestown and Conneaut Lake for 54 years. Dr. Woods was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, Greenville Lions Club, was a longtime member of the former Greenville Club and was a past member of the Iroquois Boating and Fishing Club in Conneaut Lake. He enjoyed walking, golfing, rooting for Pitt Sports, eating dinner out and just having a good time.

On June 9, 1962, Dr. Woods married the former Patricia M. Reiss, she passed away on July 27, 1991. He is survived by two sons, Dr. Robert M. Woods of Conneaut Lake and Dr. William B. Woods and his wife Mary Ann of Warren, OH; two daughters, Molly A. Cuesta of West Chester, PA and Dr. Patricia E. Woods of Pittsburgh; a sister, Joan “Bunny” Mulvey-Maffey of Sharpsville; seven grandchildren, Robbie Woods, Ginger Woods, Charlie woods, Joe Cuesta, Julia Cuesta, William Woods and Mary Ann Woods and his beloved dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother, Bernard Woods and three sisters, Mary Higgins, Patricia Walker and Marcella DeArment Phillips.
