Duane Neefe

Duane A. Neefe, age 76, of Woodbine Dr., Hempfield Twp., passed away at his residence Wednesday evening, March 10, 2021.

He was born in Coudersport, PA on April 16, 1944 to Leigh and Mildred (Cheverton) Neefe. He was a 1962 graduate of Coudersport High School. Duane was employed and retired as a Manager after thirty-eight years of employment with Tennessee Gas Pipeline, working in various locations in the United States. He was a member of Perry Baptist Church, Hadley. Duane had been active as a HAM Radio operator for many years and he truly loved taking care of his lawn.

On November 18, 1970, he married the former Melodie L. Baker, she survives. Also surviving are two sisters; Mary Gage of Grove City and Hazel Juell of Eureka, CA and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son; Jason Neefe, two sisters and a brother.

Per Duane's wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no services.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
