Dwight F. Gill

Dwight F. Gill of Greenville passed away at home on 04/16/2025 at the age of 82. He was born in Mercer on March 20, 1943 to Cecil Fruit & Edith Harriet (Bitler) Gill who preceded him in death. Dwight graduated in 1961 from West Middlesex High School. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1963 and served until 1969.

Dwight was a machinist by trade. After that he worked for himself as a jack of all trades.

Dwight was an active member of the Greenville VFW Post 3374. He also was an active member of the Reynolds VFW Post 7599 until his health declined.

Dwight is survived by his loving caretaker, Tina; his children: Amber Kerins, Burt (Tammy) Foor, Dwight S (Mary) Gill, and Candace Gill; his stepdaughter Ronda (Bobbie Jo) Dennison; his sister Gloria Miller; brother-in-law Robert Adamec; 5 grandchildren: Jennifer, Tyler, Nicholas, Dominic and Emma; and 8 great grandchildren: Jeramya, Kaylob, Cassie, Rae, Jakobe, Sawyer, Charleigh and Phoebe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Cecil, sister Sherry, and daughter Dawn.

Services:

Military Honors will be observed at a date to be announced. There will be no additional funeral services as requested by Dwight. A celebration of life will be held at the Greenville VFW on a date to be announced.
