Edward Murcko

Edward M. Murcko, age 73, of Vernon Rd. W. Salem Twp., Greenville, passed away Sunday July 10, 2022 in his residence after a short battle with cancer.

He was born in Sharon, PA on April 1, 1949 to John M. and Helen M. (Matas) Murcko. Ed was a 1968 graduate of Reynolds High School. He was the owner/operator of Murcko's Wallpapering since 1987. He was previously employed at Dart Chevrolet and Rowe's Auto Parts. He was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, Knights of Columbus Fitzmartin Council #1446 and Reynolds VFW Post #7599. Ed was an avid bowler, golfer and euchre card player. He had recorded two 300 games bowling and two hole-in-ones golfing. Most importantly, Ed 's family was his world and he was always available to help with any project that needed completed.

On October 5, 1968 he married the former Darlene M. Frampton, she survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Angela M. Pacifico and her husband Jerry of Sharpsville, a son, Dion Murcko and his wife Jodi of Greenville, two sisters, Helen D'Amico and her husband Bob of New Middleton, OH and Mary John of Bellflower, CA, five brothers, John Murcko and his wife Marianne of Farrell, PA, Michael Murcko and his wife Nancy of Greenville, Albert Murcko and his wife Debbie of Pittsburgh, George Murcko of Transfer and Frank Murcko and his wife Mary of Cranberry Twp. and five grandchildren, Natasha Shodd and her husband Jacob, Niko Pacifico, Halle Murcko, Ava Murcko and Sophia Murcko. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Peter John.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, with Fr. Brandon Kleckner, Pastor as celebrant.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Roman Catholic Church or St. Michael School, 85 N. High St. Greenville, PA 16125.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
