Evelyn Mullen

Evelyn D. Mullen, age 85, of W. Marley Rd., Jamestown passed away Friday morning, January 13, 2023 in her residence.

She was born in McKeesport, PA on November 28, 1937 a daughter of Elmer and Ruth (Farber) Hood. On July 12, 1984 Evelyn married Lloyd H. (Buck) Mullen Jr., he passed away April 19, 2013. She was a bartender at Mark Twain Manor and Twin Flames for many years. She was a member of Jamestown Fireman's Club and Jamestown VFW Post # 5424. Evelyn enjoyed bowling, fishing, boating, and going to yard sales and flea markets.

She is survived two daughters, Cindy Cloud of Hartstown, Lori Shirey and her companion Bruce Birkner of Greenville, a sister, Marian Hood-Smith-Mullen of McKeesport, PA; her companion of 7 years, Richard Mau of Austintown, OH; three grandchildren, Talia Ray, Zachary Shirey, and Donell Cloud; seven great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a great granddaughter Baby Janie Shirey, two brothers Dennis Hood and Elmer Alan Hood, two sisters Barbara Hood and Ruth Shirley Hood.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in the Chapel of Park Lawn Cemetery, Jamestown with Rev. John Hodge, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
