Fayetta J. Dignall age 88, of Greenville, passed away Thursday evening, April 27, 2023 in St. Paul’s Senior Living Community.

She was born in Greenville on September 23, 1934 to William J. and Dorothy (Ritenour) Buhl. She attended Penn High School, had previously worked as a clerk at the former Ames and had been a Homemaker most of her life. Fay was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Greenville and was a past volunteer at the Good Shepherd Center. She enjoyed sitting on her porch and hosting family dinners that included the best baked ham, turkey and lasagna.

On October 16, 1950 she married Grant “Red” Dignall, he passed away on December 17, 2006. She is survived by her daughter; Karen Foulk and her husband Richard of Greenville, a sister; Linda Gibbens of Texas, a brother; William Buhl of Oregon, four grandchildren; Brian Foulk and his wife Meghan, Mandi Curtis and her husband Scott, Brenda Bailey and Eric Bailey, seven great-grandchildren; Josie and Asher Curtis, Dylan, Ethan and Marin Foulk and Cameron and Jayden Gehr and her deceased daughter’s fiancé; George Derr. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter; Susan Marie Bailey and three brothers; Douglas Buhl, Jack Gibbens, and Donald Gibbens. The family would like to thank the compassionate and caring staff of The Villas at St. Paul’s.
