Frances E. Conn

Frances E. Conn, age 93, of Jamestown passed away Sunday evening, January 5, 2025, in Andover Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born February 23, 1931 in Jamestown to Free R. and Grace V. (Pitzer) McElhaney. Frances was a 1949 graduate of Pymatuning Joint High School and was a lifelong homemaker.

She was a member of Jamestown Presbyterian Church and had volunteered for Meals on Wheels in the Greenville and Jamestown areas for many years. In her younger years, Frances enjoyed gardening and canning.

On September 21, 1950, she married Richard E. Conn; he passed away June 22, 2010.

Frances is survived by a daughter, Deborah Pitoscia of Hermitage; a son, Richard D. (Michaela) Conn of Jamestown; five grandchildren: Leah (Daniel) Broudy, Neal (Tracie) Hall, Daniel Conn, Rebecca Conn, and Stacey (William) Pfaff; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Denise Conn; and nine siblings.

Services:

A private Funeral Service will be held in Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St. Jamestown, with Rev. Josh Peyton, Pastor of Andover Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Jamestown. Memorial Contributions may be made to Jamestown Presbyterian Church, 411 Liberty St. Jamestown, PA 16134.
