Gary S. Augustine

Gary S. Augustine, age 71, of Tanner Rd., W. Salem Twp., Greenville passed away peacefully in his residence with his family at his side on Wednesday evening, January 15, 2025.

He was born in Greenville on May 13, 1953 to Ruth (Randall) Augustine. Gary attended Conneaut Lake Schools and retired from Garvin Guaranteed Specialty, Adamsville where he was employed as a machine operator and worked in shipping and receiving for a total of 44 years.

He was a member of Greenville F. O. E. #805 and Hartstown Pumphouse #45. Gary was a past volunteer firefighter with Fallowfield Fire and Rescue. He enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, vacations to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

On June 25, 2002, Gary married the former Marcia L. McCright; she survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Valerie L. Reese of Hartstown; a son, Eric R. (Teresa) Srock; two sisters, Linda (Bill) Stright and Ann Valesky of Atlantic; a brother, Thomas Augustine, of Greenville; two grandchildren, Mason (Alex) Reese and Gage Reese; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, Lewis Augustine and Daniel “Pete” Augustine.

Services:

A Blessing Service will be held at 4 PM Sunday, 1/19/25, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville with Tom Moore, friend of the deceased, officiating. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on 1/19/25 from 1 PM until time of service. Memorial Contributions may be made to F. O. E. #805, 283 Main St. Greenville, PA 16125.
