Gary A. Marin, age 72, of Greenville and formerly of Slatington, PA, passed away on June 24, 2021 in the Villas at St. Paul's Senior Living Community.

Gary was born on November 15, 1948 to Edward and Ruth (Hamilton) Marin. He was a 1966 graduate of Reynold's High School. Gary proudly served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1971. He was employed as an auto mechanic at Jack Russell's Auto Body Shop in Jamestown, PA prior to moving to Allentown, PA.  He worked as a financial advisor for Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc. in Allentown, PA as well as a machinist for Ametek in Berwyn, PA.

Gary retired as a machinist from Just Born Quality Confections in Bethlehem, PA.  When not working several jobs to provide for his family, Gary enjoyed volunteering for Asbury United Methodist Church in Allentown, PA at which he was an active member; traveling in his RV; camping; as well as watching Nascar races and Steelers football.

On May 25, 1974, Gary married Rosaline A. Russell who proceeded him in death on May 7, 2016. Gary and Rosaline are survived by their two daughters, Christine H. (Marin) Quay and her husband, Daniel J. Quay of Coplay, PA and Deanna L. (Marin) Goodman and her husband, Damian T. Goodman of Slatington, PA.  Also surviving are his three brothers, Doug Marin of Allentown, PA, as well as Jeffrey Marin and Robert (Bob) Marin, both of Transfer, PA; one half-brother, Arthur Wood of Tuscon, Arizona; four granddaughters, Ainsley Quay, Henley Quay, Blake Goodman, and Declynn Goodman; as well as three nieces Melissa (Marin) Arellano, Jenna (Marin) Bravo, and Ashley (Marin) Yavorsky.
