Geraldine Mcaninch

Geraldine L. “Susie” McAninch, age 84, of W. Salem Twp., Greenville, passed away Wednesday evening, May 31, 2023 in St. Paul’s Senior Living Community.

She was born in Greenville on May 3, 1939 to Wilton and Stella (Krause) Conover. Susie was a Homemaker and had also been employed for ten years in the house cleaning department of Greenville Hospital. She enjoyed taking rides in the car, chocolate milkshakes and loved her flowers and her pets. On July 12, 1993 she married Frederick A. McAninich, he passed away on July 8, 2007.

Susie is survived her daughter; Rhonda Fry and her husband Hutch, four sons; Chuck Sensesak and his wife Brenda, Terry Blackburn, Roy Blackburn, Jr. and his wife Donna and James Blackburn and his wife Terry, all of Greenville, a sister; Harriett Reed of Longs, SC, eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a companion; Patrick Byrne, her previous husband, Roy Blackburn, Sr., and two sisters and five brothers.

A Private Family Memorial Service will be held in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville, with Rev. Vince Bellanca, Pastor of Eagles Nest Ministries, officiating. Inurnment will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery.
