Gloria J. Russell

Gloria J. Russell of Greenville, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed-away in the presence of her family on Sunday, February 16th, from complications of COPD. She was 77. 

Gloria was born December 4th, 1947 in Bethlehem, PA. She married Allen Russell in 1965, who since passed-away in Alabama. Afterwards, her partner of 30 years was Charlie Reigleman of Greenville, who has since passed. She then had a late-in-life close relationship with Bill Vernon, who has since passed in Greenville. 

She has two sons; Wesley Russell, married to Patty, who have a daughter; Rachel Angle, married to Brennan Angle, who have two daughters; Selah and Avah... all of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her youngest son, Todd Russell, married to Bobbie, together have two daughters; Tessa and Charlotte... all residents of Greenville. She was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph and Margaret Blatnik, and Wesley and Grace Weiland, and her older sister, Erma... all from the Allentown area.

Through her life, Gloria thoroughly enjoyed floristry and horticulture, always keeping a very clean home, cooking wonderful meals for her loved ones, and working in clothing stores. She adored all of her small pets. She also liked socializing and sharing a glass of wine, and she took humble joy from beautiful clothes and jewelry. She was raised Catholic and maintained her faith through-out her life, although mostly in private. Her confirmation name was Mary. 

She will be dearly missed by her family, and by the kind and helpful friends who got to know her over the last decade.

Services:

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, 2/19/25, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville, with Fr. Brandon Kleckner, Pastor of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Wednesday, 2/19/25, from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Greenville V. F. W. Post #3374, 54 Conneaut Lake Rd. Greenville, PA 16125.
