Harold F. “Buttsy” Holler, age 73, of Chestnut St., Jamestown, passed away Wednesday morning, January 10, 2024 in Cleveland Clinic after a brief illness. He was born in Jamestown on December 21, 1950, a son of Robert Holler and Marion Burnett.

He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On February 14, 1977, Harold married the former Melissa Hunter, she survives. He was employed at McGills Septic in Kinsman, OH, Buck's Fabricating in Hadley and retired as a bartender at Jamestown VFW Post #5424. He was a life member of Jamestown VFW Post #5424, where he helped get the Jamestown Canteen up and running, was a past Dist. 28 PA Commander in the years 2012-2013 and was a past Mercer County Council PA Commander in the years 2010-2011.

In addition, he was a life member of Jamestown Fireman's Club. Harold was known around the neighborhood for mowing lawns in the summer and blowing snow in the winter.

In addition to his wife of 46 years; he is survived by a daughter, Misty Pulford and her husband Ashley of Jefferson, OH; two sons, Brian Holler and his wife Kim of Greenville, Mike Holler and his family of Sylvania, OH; a sister, Judy Holler (William Penifield) of Conneaut Lake; two brothers, Marvin Holler of Greenville, Robert Holler of Erie; a sister-in-law, Nancy Burnett of Erie; a granddaughter, Amanda Beall and her husband Sean of Orwell, OH; 10 nieces, 10 nephews and his dog Corkie. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-dad Elvin “Snowball” Novak, two brothers, Donald Burnett and John Holler, his in-laws Duncan and Betty McClearn, two brother-in-laws, three nephews and two nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Jamestown VFW Post #5424, 205 Liberty St., Jamestown. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
