Harry N. Schneider, Sr., age 87, of Schneider Lane, Jamestown passed away Tuesday evening, February 15, 2022 in UPMC Horizon, Greenville.

He was born in Pittsburgh on April 25, 1934 a son of Norbert and Leonna (Kohlmyer) Schneider. He served his country in the United States Army in the late 50's in Greenland. On April 6, 1957 Harry married the former Florence Rogers, she survives. He was from Pittsburgh and was a roofer in Pittsburgh for 25 years, after moving to Jamestown he was employed at Steel Car from the 70's until the 90's. Harry was the township supervisor for West Shenango Township for many years.

After his brothers passing he raised his niece and two nephews Karen, Paul, and Donald Schneider. He was a member of Stateline United Methodist Church. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed watching the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins on TV. Harry truly enjoyed spending time with family especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife; he is survived by two sons, Randy Schneider and his wife Della, Harry Schneider, Jr. and his wife Regina all of Jamestown; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Ted Schneider and Paul Schneider, a sister Irene Schneider, and a grandson Billy Tragovic.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Stateline Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
