James M. “Jim” Foulkrod of Kinsman Road, Greene Twp., Jamestown, PA passed away July 8, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born on May 8, 1961 in Brookville, PA. Jim graduated from Hickory High School in 1980. He married the former Robin Burns on April 12, 1997.
Jim had been employed by Willard Burial, West Middlesex for 30 years until retiring due to illness. He was a member of Hermitage Fire Department until moving to Jamestown, and he was a past member of the Jamestown Fire Department.
Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters and his newborn grandson.
He is survived by his wife Robin, a son Michael (Erin) Foulkrod of Jamestown, a daughter, Kristi (Ryan) Bromley of Sharpsville, granddaughters Sydni and Averi Bromley, and a grandson James Oldham, a step-granddaughter Katie Hill, and a step-grandson Zach Oldham. They were his pride and joy. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Cheryl Burns, brother-in-law Charles (Terri) Burns III, and sister-in-law Melissa (Brian) Weimert. Other additional survivors include Kelly, Charles IV, and Robert Burns, Katie (Nick) Forcier and their daughters Madilynn and Makenna, Robert Rossi who was like a father to Jim, Patricia Williams who was a mother figure to Jim, and Randy Wescoat who was like a brother to Jim.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Charles “Chick” Burns and a niece, Kasey Marie Burns.
Services:
A private family funeral service will be held in Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services 416 Liberty Street, Jamestown. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Jim’s name can be made to the National Kidney Foundation 2403 Sidney Street STE 205 Pittsburg, PA 15203.
