James L. Micsky, age 92, of Fredonia Rd., Delaware Twp., Greenville, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in his residence. He was born in Daisytown, PA on October 5, 1931 to Andrew and Susan (Kaduk) Micsky.

Jim was a graduate of Penn High School and served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army M.P. from 1952-1954. He was employed form 1962-1995 with Brick Layers and Allied Craftsman Local 9, where had served as a foreman on many local buildings. Jim was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, where he participated in the church bowling league and casino trips. He was a 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus Fitzmartin Council #1446. Jim served as a Little League Coach for Fredonia-Delaware and he volunteered his construction skill set on many projects. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and attending and supporting all his children’s, grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.

On April 7, 1956 he married the former Sophie Kosmowski, she passed away on April 28, 2022. Jim is survived by his four sons, Jim Micsky and his wife Cindy, Mark Micsky and his wife LeeAnn, David Micsky and his wife Lori and Gregg Micsky and his wife Tami, brothers, Lawrence Micsky and his wife Nancy and Paul Micsky and his wife Janet, sister-in-law, Lila Micsky, grandchildren, Kristen Malinko and her husband Gary, Steven Micsky and his wife Julie, Tyler Micsky and his wife Chanel, Michael Micsky and his wife Anne, Hannah Cianci and her husband Nick, Taylor Micsky, Ryan Micsky, Christopher Micsky, Ethan Micsky, Jonathan Micsky, and Riley and Leann Petrucelli, great-grandchildren, Ava and Gary Malinko, George, Teddy, Max and Teresa Micsky, Nicholas and Samuel Cianci, Brooks Micsky and Carson, Peyton and Caleb Micsky. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers, Robert, Andrew and William Micsky and a daughter-in-law, April Micsky.
