Janet Waid

Janet R. Waid, age 82, of Pitts Rd., Adamsville passed away Thursday afternoon, July 20, 2023 in her residence.

She was born in Genesee, Idaho on July 18, 1941 a daughter of Charles and Rose (Jacobs) Drader. She was a 1960 graduate of Issaquah High School in Washington State and on September 7, 1965 Janet married John Waid, JR., he survives.

She retired from USIS and enjoyed bingo, playing volleyball, trips to the casino, and playing cards and games with family and friends.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Waid of Erie and LaRina Clark and her husband Joseph of Stafford VA; two grandchildren, MaRina Clark and Mitchell Clark both of Stafford, VA; three great grandchildren, Gabriel, Burlan, and Bruce.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Charlotte Kupser.

As per Janet's wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no services.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
