Jean Simmons

Jean G. Simmons, age 94, of St. Paul’s Senior Living Community, Greenville and formerly of Greensburg, PA passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022.

She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 11, 1928 to Clifford Dale Gibson and Eva (Gass) Gibson. Jean was a graduate of Dormont High School. She was a Homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her home and family. Jean was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Greenville and was a former member of Greensburg Presbyterian Church.

On June 12, 1948 she married Ralph W. Simmons, he passed away on June 3, 2009. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Rowe and her husband William of Pittsburgh and a son, Grant Simmons and his wife Joan of Elk Grove, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Walter Gibson and Richard Gibson.

A Private Funeral Service will be held Thursday. October 20, 2022 in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville, with Rev. Julia Fraser, Chaplain of St. Paul’s Senior Living Community, officiating. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery.
