Jeanne Marie Coxson

Jeanne Marie Coxson, of Greenville, passed away on December 28, 2024 at Kadima Rehabilitation and Nursing, Greenville at the age of 90 due to natural causes.

Jeanne was born in Greenville on January 18, 1934 to Leona (Ruffing) Shoaff. She went to school at St. Mike’s in Greenville and remained a devout Catholic her whole life. She was an avid reader and loved her cats. She worked many years at the Golden Dawn on Hadley Road. For her last few years, her favorite activity was bingo. Jeanne was a devoted mother and grandmother, always putting the needs of her family before her own.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Leona Shoaff; a sister, Joanne Baldwin; three brothers; Louis, Paul, and Robert Shoaff; the love of her life, Frank Coxson; her children, Monica Guerrini and Mark Bright; and two stepsons: Rick Coxson and Ron Coxson.

Jeanne is survived by her son, John Guerrini of Greenville; her stepson, Randy Coxson of North Carolina; Seven grandchildren: John and Lindsey Guerrini, Toni and Michelle Whyte, and Pat, Kristin, and Faith Bright; and two great-grandchildren: Carter Mills and Tallulah “LouLou” Guerrini.

Services:

Private Committal Prayers will be held in the Chapel of St. Michael’s Cemetery, Greenville, with Fr. Brandon Kleckner, Pastor of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 85 N. High St. Greenville, PA 16125.
