Jodeen A. "Jodi" Limber

Jodeen A. “Jodi” Limber, age 65, of Methodist Rd., Sugar Grove Twp., Greenville passed away peacefully in her residence on Saturday afternoon, December 7, 2024, with her family at her side after a heroic battle with cancer.

She was born on September 18, 1959 in Greenville to John F. and Henrietta “Henny” (Redfoot) Gilmore. Jodi was a 1977 graduate of Greenville High School and earned an associate degree in business from Thiel College. For the past 25 years, Jodi served as the secretary of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She previously had been employed for 10 years as a secretary with Anderson Coach and assisted her husband in operating Greenville Beverage. Jodi also worked part-time at Daffin’s Candies from 2009 – 2018.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Greenville. Jodi loved her dogs and horses, crocheting, crafting, traveling, and fishing. She actively followed the Professional Bullriders Association and attended many rodeos.

On June 6, 1981, Jodi married Ronald E. Limber; he survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Tyler E. Limber, of Leeper, PA; her mother, Patricia A. Gilmore, of Greenville; a sister, Margaret O. “Birdy” (Brad) Beck, of Greenville; and four brothers: Jeffrey A. Gilmore of Greenville; Clifford H. Gilmore of Greenville; Robert D. (Traci McBeth) Gilmore of Mercer; and Dean Redmond of Greenville.

Jodi is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jonette Gilmore.

Services:

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, 12/13/24, in St. John’s Lutheran Church, 10 Beil Hill Rd., Greenville with Rev. John Coleman, Pastor of the Church, officiating. Family and friends will be received from 4-7 PM on Thursday, 12/12/24, in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral home and Cremation Services, Inc. 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville.
