Judy Ross

Judy A. Ross, age 83, of Donation Road, Hempfield Twp. Greenville, passed away surrounded by her family Saturday morning, November 11, 2023 following a brief illness. She was born in Greenville on August 22, 1940 to Wesley R. and Kathryn B. (Heckman) Greenfield.

Judy was a 1958 graduate of Penn High School and then was employed for 27 as a secretary at Northwest Orthopedic in Greenville. She was a member of Zion’s Reformed United Church of Christ and the Greenville Family Moose Center #276. Judy truly loved spending time with her family, her monthly girls card club and twenty years of enjoying the month of March in Florida with family and friends.

On October 12, 1957 she married James A. Ross, he passed away Monday November 13, 2023. Judy is survived by her son, Jon Ross and his wife Patty of Greenville, a daughter, Jeri Barum and her husband John of Pittsburgh, a sister, Kathy Wick and her husband Ray of Albuquerque, NM, a brother, David Greenfield and his wife Carla of Pittsburgh, nine grandchildren; Troy (Lynnette) Taylor, Molly (Garett) Rowe, Nicholas Taylor, Jimmy Ross, Jared Ross, Laura (Dave) Weatherholt, Ryan (Meghan) Braum, Alyssa (Alan) Adelman, Taylor (Cameron) Kockler, and 8 great-grandchildren; Brynn Ross, Jovie, Asher and Annelise ‘Peanut” Rowe, Cameron, Tyler, Zac and Maxilynn Weatherholt . She was preceded in death by her parents.

Public visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 PM in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville. Inurnment will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Senior Living Community, 339 E. Jamestown Rd., Greenville, PA 16125.
