Kathleen A. “Kathy” Britton, age 78, of Chestnut St., Jamestown passed away Monday evening, December 20, 2021 in The Grove at Greenville.
She was born in Meadville on May 27, 1943 a daughter of Howard G. and Josephine (Gulick) Graham. She was a 1961 graduate of Randolph East Mead High School in Guysmills. On September 22, 1973 Kathy married James Britton, he passed away on October 16, 2018.
She was previously employed as a nurse's aide at Meadville City Hospital, Meadville Spencer Hospital, Mitchell's Home for Retarded Children, and Whitecliff Nursing Home now known as The Grove at Greenville for 15 years; she also worked at Sperry Farms for 15 years. Kathy was a member of Stateline Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by two sons, David Britton of Jamestown and Larry Todd Roberts and his wife Dawn of Florida; two sisters, Linda Twiford of Saegertown, PA and Raynee Randolph of Memphis, TN; two granddaughters, Alianora and Alivia Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Robin Roberts, a sister and brother-in-law Carol and Ed Britton.
A Committal Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 23, 2021 in the chapel at Park Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Dan Miller, Pastor of Stateline United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
