Kenneth Geiger

August 12, 1955 — August 30, 2024

Fredonia, PA

Kenneth Geiger, better known as “X” to those who knew and loved him, passed away Friday afternoon, August 30, 2024, at home with his wife and dog “Duck” by his side. He was 69.

Kenneth was born August 12, 1955 to William and Alice (Shuhart) Geiger. Kenneth always gave credit to his dad for his life-long passions of hunting and fishing and becoming a forever “Oakland (LV) Raiders” fan. He loved sharing those passions with others and creating memories that lived in his heart for a lifetime. He shared his love for the “Raiders” especially with his son Shawn and grandson Connor.

He attended Reynolds High School and was employed in the paint shop of the former Trinity Industries for over 27 years followed by seven years as a machine operator at CCL Container.

Kenneth opened his heart to love and married the former Karen Landon on June 8, 2002. She will treasure the immense love he gave her till he once again reaches out for her hand.

Kenneth is survived by his brother, Bern, and sisters Linda and Verna and their families; his two sons, Shawn Geiger and his wife Denise and grandson Connor (who he was so proud of), and Chad Geiger and family.

Kenneth also is survived by Karen’s children, James Landon, his wife Amanda, and granddaughters Alexis and Charlotte who loved going for 4-wheeler rides with Grandpa, and Rebecca (Landon) Finch, her husband Codie, and granddaughter, baby Charis, who he treasured meeting for the first time in June.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother Bill.

 Services:

Kenneth wished for no services. He wanted only for his family and friends and all who knew him to treasure the memories and to know he enjoyed his life with all of you. Burial will be in Millbank Cemetery, Fredonia.
