Kenneth Aaron Jones (Ken or Kenny) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 24th, 2023, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Kenneth, 65, was born on February 7th, 1958, in Sharon, PA to John A. Jones and Bernice L. (Kelso) Jones.

He graduated from Reynolds High School Class of 1977 and later went on to graduate from TDS truck driving school. Ken retired from the Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad with 39 years of service as an engineer/conductor. He also was employed at Anderson Bus & Tour as a driver for 14 years.

Ken was a caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports. One of his hobbies was collecting railroad memorabilia. One of his favorite things to do was going to flea markets. If you asked him what he loved most, he would say spending time with his family. He also loved his two dogs, Maggie and Rosie.

Ken married his wife, Christine B. Jones, on May 2nd, 1981, and they recently celebrated 42 wonderful years together.
They have 3 children who meant the world to him, Emily, Jenna, and Kurtis.

Ken is survived by his wife, Christine, daughter Emily (Benjamin) Bryan of Wake Forest, NC, daughter Jenna (Dr. Andrew) Linn of Linesville, PA, and son Kurtis Jones and companion Allison Bennett of Frederick, MD. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Owen, Nolan, and Ethan Linn.  He is also survived by a brother, Ralph Jones (Debbie), Florida, a sister Debbie Cribbs (Randy), Florida, a brother-in-law Roy King (Hadley, PA) and also many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, John and Bernice Jones, his sister Carol King, and his in laws DeWayne and Emma June Bush.
