Larry Miller

d. March 29, 2024

Larry F. Miller, 77 of Adamsville, died Friday, March 29, 2024, at UPMC Farrell Hospital surrounded by his family.

Larry was born on October 15, 1946 to Norrine and Raymond Miller, who preceeded him in death.

Larry graduated from Greenville High School in 1964 and continued studies at Youngstown State University.

Larry was a lifelong resident of the Greenville area where 47 years were spent as a dedicated and hardworking employee for the Werner Family's  R.D. Werner Company in Greenville.  Larry retired in charge of warehousing. After retirement, for 5 years he and his wife Cheryl owned and operated Pierce Florists of Linesville.

Larry was very proud of his sons and so enjoyed their early years. Larry loved teaching them how to hunt, fish, and build a teepee when they would go on trips to Friendship, Indiana.

Larry also took pride in being the  Boy Scout Leader of his sons and other local boys.  He relished  spending much of his sons' childhoods and teenage years camping in Leeper and as adults with their families at his beloved camp in Lucinda.

Larry would always smile from ear to ear being with his beloved seven granddaughters as they doted on him, it gave him so much joy and happiness!

Larry was a history buff particularly the Civil War Era. He also enjoyed and was exceptional at building muzzle loader guns. Larry had wonderful memories of fishing trips with his sons and deer hunting with his granddaughters.

Larry's greatest pleasure was being a dedicated "family man" that loved seeing his children and grandchildren play in the field as he watched sitting on his camp deck.

Larry was preceeded in death by the love of his life (wife) Cheryl. Cheryl and Larry were together for 57 years.

Larry is survived, greatly loved and will be sorely missed by his three sons Donald and wife Melinda, Doug and Darrin; grandchildren Ashley (Duane), Erin, Natalie, Jenna, Carlie, Abby, and Hallie Miller; great grandchildren, Abel, Luna, Kylo and Cryus; sister in law Connie Reinhart, niece Gabby Acierno and her husband Steve and their two children Enzio and Giavana.
