Louise Lauer

Louise D. Lauer, of The Colony at St. Paul’s Senior Living Community, and formerly of Pittsburgh, quietly passed away in the early morning on July 8th. Her son, Bill, and daughter-in-law, Sue, were at her side.  She was less than a year short of celebrating her 100th birthday.

In addition to Bill and Sue, Louise is survived by three grandchildren, Scott and Abby Kelly (and her husband Patrick) both of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Michael Yakimchuk and his three sons of Ottawa, Ontario. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bill, and her daughter, Conni.

The entire family could not be more grateful for the loving support of her close friends and the staff members of St Paul’s.

At her request, there will be no visitation. A Private Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Shenango Valley Cemetery. In remembrance of Louise’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to St. Paul’s Good Samaritan Fund, 339 E. Jamestown Road, Greenville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation services, Inc. 366-368 S. Main St. Greenville.
