Marion I. Green, age 88, previously of Atlantic, passed away Saturday afternoon, February 10, 2024 in Andover Village Skilled Nursing Home. She was born in Atlantic on December 23, 1935 a daughter of Marshall E. and Inez M. (Long) Courtney.

She was a 1954 graduate of Jamestown High School and on September 14, 1956 Marion married Karl P. Green, he survives. She was a cook for Conneaut School District for many years. She was a member of Fallowfield United Methodist Church, Atlantic, Atlantic Grange, and Golden Rule Rebekah Lodge.

In addition to her husband of 67 years, she is survived by a daughter, Melanie Morian and her husband Ken of Conneaut Lake; a son, Alan Green and his wife Jeanna of Atlantic; a sister, Wilma Ferguson of Hartstown; a sister-in-law, Shirley Penman of Auburn, NY; four grandchildren, Adam Green (Jessie), Teanna Carberry (Brandon), Karlee Bartoo (Anthony), McKenna Castile; seven great grandchildren, Liam Bartoo, Madison Castile, Emma Castile, Rowan Green, Willow Green, Ellie Carberry, and Taylor Fay. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Shirley Bovard and Marjorie Rigby. The family would like to give a special thank you to Marion's caregiver Delores Hutchins, who was always so loving and kind.
