Mark Henry

Mark L. Henry, age 73, of Valley View Rd. S. Pymatuning Twp., Sharpsville, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Thursday evening, February 29, 2024 in the ER of UPMC Shenango Valley. He was born in Mercer, PA on September 17, 1950 to LeVere and Shirley (Jones) Henry.

Mark was a graduate of Commodore Perry High School and attended Edinboro University. He retired from Werner Co. in Greenville, where he was employed for over thirty years, working in the Shows and Samples Department and later in the Engineering Department. He was previously employed for over 10 years at the Bessemer & Lake Erie R.R. Mark enjoyed hunting, wood working, following NASCAR and spending time at the camp in Marienville.

On April 9, 1989, he married the former Cynthia L. McKnight, she survives at home. Also surviving is his daughter, Neile Murn and her husband Harry of Lutherville, MD, his son, Todd Henry of New Castle, a step-daughter, Katie Grande and her husband Jeffrey of Hermitage, two sisters, Kathleen Swartzbeck and her husband Gary of Kernersville, NC and Melissa Smith and her husband Buck of Advance, NC and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Private Memorial Service will be held in Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home, 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville, with Rev. William Locke, Pastor of Clark United Methodist Church, officiating.
