Mary Stair

Mary E. Stair, age 65, of Bradford Woods Rd., Jamestown passed away Thursday morning, December 2, 2021 in her residence after a three year struggle with ALS.

She was born in Pittsburgh on February 15, 1956 a daughter of Edwin and Georgia (Spohrer) Harper. She was a 1974 graduate of South Hills High School. She was a certified dietitian from HACC and would help people in the community with nutrition. She was employed as a waitress at Red Lobster in Meadville. She was a member of St. Margaret Mission Church, Jamestown. Mary enjoyed Pymatuning Lake, making jewelry, and truly enjoyed spending time with family, she was an avid outdoors person.

In addition to her husband of 34 years, James; she is survived by a daughter, Jamie Eisler and her husband Sandy of Hermitage; two sons, Jason Stair of Jamestown and James Stair of Gettysburg; a grandson, Sandy James Eisler; Mary was one of eleven children including her twin brother; many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Alan Harper.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, May 28, 2022 in St. Margaret Mission, 701 Denver St., Jamestown with Rev. Christopher Barnes, Pastor of the church as celebrant. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
