Michael A. Higbee, age 66, of Konneyaut Trail, Conneaut Lake and formerly of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, October 9, 2024, in the ER of Meadville Medical Center.
He was born February 25, 1958 to William D. and Jean J. (Adams) Higbee. Mike was a 1977 graduate of Greenville High School, and he had managed Frank Crash Auto Wrecking in both Sharon and Greenville for more than 35 years.
Mike attended Bethel Life Worship Center in Greenville where he served as an usher and also led the Loving Hands Prime Group. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and hunting.
On June 14, 1980, he married the former Pamela Crash: she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Adam Higbee and wife Tara of Tomball, TX; a daughter, Kristina Higbee and partner Antonio Garrett of Carnegie, PA; two sisters, Jackie Ealy and her husband Mark of Mt. Joy, PA and Linda Mitchell of Greenville; a brother, Tim Higbee and his wife Linda of Wisconsin; five grandchildren: Kyle, Mia, Luca, Giovanni, and Nico; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Frank Crash; mother-in-law Carol Crash; a sister, Gwynne Higbee; and a brother-in-law, David Mitchell.
Services:
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6PM Tuesday, 10/15/24 in Bethel Life Worship Center, 246 S. Mercer St. Greenville, with Pastor Kent Bell and Pastor James Fleck co-officiating. The family will receive friends in the church at the conclusion of the service. Burial will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery, Greenville.
