Mildred Jane Heile, age 91, formerly of Reynolds Rd., Pymatuning Twp., Greenville, passed away December 30, 2023 in St. Paul’s Senior Living Community. She was born in Shenango on June 5, 1932 a daughter of Harry Milton and Mildred Mary (Webster) Zahniser.

She was a 1950 graduate of Penn High School, where she was the Homecoming Queen and a 1970 graduate of Sharon General Hospital School of Nursing, where she became a registered nurse. On July 14, 1951 Mildred married George H. Heile, he passed away June 9, 2002. She was previously employed for 10 years at Shenango Valley Osteopathic Hospital in Farrell, where she was a nurse manager of cardiac rehab and had also been previously employed as a nurse in the ICU at Greenville Regional Hospital. She was a member of Hillside Presbyterian Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a Deacon. She was a past volunteer of the Good Shepard Center, American Heart Association and served as the past Treasurer of the local Pennsylvania Nurse’s Association. Her hobbies included, knitting, crocheting and reading.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra Jones and her husband Ralph of Winter Haven, FL and Mary Margaret Stultz and her husband Keith of Montague, TX; two sisters, Doris Ann Seidle of Clarion, PA and Janet L. Shannon and her husband Sonny of Greenville; two sister-in-law’s, Mary Ellen Zahniser of Transfer and Gretchen Zahniser of Greenville; four grandchildren, Jason Stultz, Greta Burke, Katie Green and Kristina Jones and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers Harry Zahniser and Robert Zahniser.
