Mildred L. Potase, age 91, of Vernon Rd. W. Salem Twp., passed away peacefully with her family by her side Tuesday evening, July 27, 2021 in her residence.
She was born in Greenville on November 13, 1929 to James A. and Catherine P. (Cleck) Campbell. She was a 1948 graduate of Penn High School. Mildred was employed in the office and as a clerk for twelve years at the former Loblaw's Grocery Store and then went onto work in the office of Ames Department Store for twenty years.
Mildred was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville. Mildred enjoyed cooking and baking, trips to the casino and spending time with her grandchildren.
On March 28, 1949 she married John G. Potase, he passed away on June 12, 2015. She is survived by three daughters; Linda Vargo and her husband Albert of Vienna, OH, Letitia Brace and her husband Roy of Grand Island, NY and Lois Robinson of Greenville, a son; Wayne F. Potase of Greenville, eight grandchildren fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson; Roy G. Brace, great-great grandson; Bellamy Hayes; three sisters; Iona Daugherty, Mary Doughton and Kathryn Moyer and four brothers; John Campbell, James Campbell, Garland Campbell and Paul Campbell.
