Patricia Jones

Patricia L. Jones, age 76, of Carolwood Rd., Saint Marys, PA, passed away Monday afternoon, June 19, 2023, at St. Paul's Senior Living Community in Greenville, PA.

She was born in Natick, MA, on September 11, 1946, to Wendall and Katharine (Ward) Long. She was a 1964 graduate of Galeton High School, Galeton, PA, and received her bachelor's degree in social work from Penn State University in 1968. On September 27,1969, Patricia married Richard E. Jones. They had one daughter Melissa. Patricia was a preschool teacher at Windermere Union Church, Windermere, FL, for 27 years. She was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church, Saint Marys, PA. Patti enjoyed reading. She also enjoyed attending and leading Bible studies.

Patti is survived by Richard, her husband of 53 years, and her daughter Melissa Jones of Los Angeles, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Long, and a sister Janice Long-Gleason. The family would like to extend their gratitude to St. Paul's Senior Living Community for the wonderful care Patti received for the last seven years.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, lnc., 366-368 S. Main Street, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Senior Living Community, 339 E. Jamestown Rd., Greenville, PA 16125.
