Patricia Mcpherson

Patricia A. McPherson, age 71, of Greenville, passed away Saturday evening, January 27, 2024 in her daughter’s residence. She was born in Columbia, SC on January 31, 1952 a daughter of John H. and Doris M. (Triola) Cresswell.

On October 8, 1980 Patricia married William A. McPherson, he passed away March 27, 2007. She delivered the newspaper for the Record Argus and Sharon Herald for over 30 years. Patricia was a caretaker who took care of many people over the years. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was an animal lover.

She is survived by four daughters, Melinda S. Chambers of Mercer, Melissa A. Chambers of Greenville, Theresa L. Davison and her husband David of Greenville, Samantha F. McPherson of Arizona; a daughter-in-law, Jill Ruffner of Greenville, eight grandchildren, Donald Lingenfelter, Luke Lingenfelter, Zachary Lingenfelter, Kayla Ross and her husband Cody, Tina Davison, Tiffany Davison, Randy Chambers, and Rachel Chambers and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three brothers Greg Cresswell, Allen Cresswell, and Steven Cresswell.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Inurnment will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or Mercer County VA 14 Courthouse, Mercer, PA 16137. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
