Patricia Murrin

Patricia R. “Patty” Murrin, age 78, of Vernon Rd., West Salem Twp., Greenville, passed away Monday evening, May 22, 2023 in her residence.

She was born in Geneva, PA on August 14, 1944 to Harry L. and Alice L. (Bierman) Grinnell. On September 7, 1961 Patty married James E. Murrin, Jr., he passed away March 31, 2018. She worked in food service at Thiel College for many years.

Survivors include her two daughters; Alicia M. Link and her husband Francis of Jamestown, OH, Maureen S. Tishov and her husband Dennis of Greenville; four sons; Dean E. Murrin of Greenville, Jeremy J. Murrin and his wife Shelly of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Justin L. Murrin and his wife Nicole of Greenville, Jared S. Murrin and his wife Corrie of Greenville; seven siblings, Joanne Gruver, Marilyn Bates, Wayne Grinnell and his wife Donna, Keith Grinnell, Ronald Grinnell and his wife Marie, Richard Grinnell and his wife Leann, Arthur Grinnell and his wife Debbie; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers Robert Grinnell, Gerald Grinnell, David Grinnell, and a granddaughter Amber Murrin.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Inurnment will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
