Rebecca A. “Becky” White, age 66, of Carpenters Corners Rd. Clarks Mills, and formerly of Jamestown, passed away Thursday October 24, 2024 in UPMC Mercy after an extended illness.
She was born in Greenville on October 5, 1958 to Richard G. “Pep” and Marylou (Shaffer) White. Becky was a 1976 graduate of Jamestown High School and had previously worked in retail and modeling before becoming disabled.
She was a member of St. Margaret Church in Jamestown.
In her younger years, Becky always loved to be on stage dancing and performing and levitating as a magician’s assistant. She was an animal lover and enjoyed ice skating for many years.
Becky is survived by her brother, Richard M. “Rick” White and his wife Robin of Jamestown; a longtime companion, Don Shaffer, of Clarks Mills; a niece, Miranda (Rob) Esposito; and two great-nephews, Caden and Lincoln Esposito.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Mark White.
Services:
Per Becky’s wishes cremation was chosen and there are no services planned. Inurnment will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Strayhaven Animal Shelter, 94 Donation Rd. Greenville, PA 16125 or the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116.
