Richard Floch

Richard J. Floch, age 84, of Albright Dr., Meadville formerly of Hartstown passed away Thursday afternoon, April 13, 2023 in Wesbury Retirement Community.

He was born in Greenville on June 15, 1938 a son of Henry and Ann (Slezak) Floch. He was a graduate of Greenville High School and served his country in the United States Army serving in 81 ^st airborne (paratrooper). On June 28, 1975 Richard married the former Nancy Shilling, she survives. He was an Insurance Agent for 25 years at Western Southern Insurance in Sharon. He was a member of Hartstown Presbyterian Church, Zem Zem, Erie, Scottish Rite, New Castle, and Eureka Lodge, Greenville. He enjoyed his hobby farm in Hartstown, hunting, fishing, and going to Steadman's and having coffee with friends. Richard also enjoyed going to car shows, he just could never find the right one to fit his budget.

In addition to his wife of 47 years, he is survived by a special family Jim and Marti Kiskadden, Harry and Sal Kiskadden, Billie Jo (Donny Hyde), Andrew (Candy), and Shawn (Tomisa); their beloved children especially Kian who would ask to clean Richard's pockets out for money. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
