Richard J. "Richie" Owen

Richard J. “Richie” Owen, age 76, of Water St., Jamestown passed away Friday evening, December 27, 2024, in UPMC Jameson.

He was born March 25, 1948 in Greenville to Floyd L. and Clara R. (Artman) Owen and attended Jamestown High School.

Richie was of the Presbyterian Faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards.

He is survived by three sisters: Vivian Fiester of Sharon, Carol Owen of Andover, OH, and Evelyn Smith of Jamestown; a brother, Floyd L. “Bud” Owen, Jr. and his wife Barbara, of Jamestown; and several nieces and nephews.

Richie is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Thelma Shepard and A. Rose Chapman.

Services:

Per Richie’s wishes, cremation was chosen, and there will be no services. Inurnment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Jamestown.
