Richard Waite

Richard L. Waite, age 75, of Fairfield St., Jamestown passed away Tuesday evening March 23, 2021 in his residence.

He was born in Cleveland, OH on July 25, 1945 a son of Edward and Emily (Greenland) Waite. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On January 11, 1972 Richard married the former Kathleen Gilbert, she survives. He was a member of White Oak Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and carpentry work.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Michelle Myers of Jamestown and Teresa Duppstedt of Alabama; a son, Stephen Waite-Keith and his wife Eleanor of Jamestown; two sisters, Marian Wright of Cleveland, OH, Linda Rapaport and her husband Steve of North Olmstead, OH; two brothers, Edward Waite and his wife Connye of Jacksonville, NC, William Waite and his wife Tina of Las Vegas, NV; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Debbie Demarco, and a grandson William Keith.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 600 River Ave., Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
