Robert Kane

Robert J. Kane, age 85, of Bush Rd., Otter Creek Twp., and formerly of Fredonia, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills, PA.

He was born in Greenville on July 3, 1937 to Carl and Della (Roberts) Kane. Bob served in the U.S. Army and he retired from Wheatland Tube Corp., where he had been employed for over thirty years. After retirement, he was employed by Adessa Auto Auction. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing pool, horseshoes and fishing.

On December 30, 1960 he married the former Wanda L. Miller, she passed away on July 9, 1986. Bob is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Kaltenbaugh and her husband Gary of Greenville, three sons, Patrick Kane of Fredonia, Michael Kane of Augusta, GA and Robert L. Kane of Clarksville, TN, a sister, Tressa Harvey of Sharon, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and three sisters, Charlotte, Dolly and Peggy.

There will be no public services held. He will be laid to rest in Center Church Cemetery, Grove City.
