Robert Zarecky

Robert D. Zarecky, age 67, of Chambers Ave., Greenville passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 12, 2022 in the ER of UPMC Greenville.

He was born in Greenville on February 18, 1954 a son of Robert D. and Margie ( Donaldson) Zarecky. He was a graduate of Greenville High School, had a masters of fine arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and an engineering degree from Yale University. On May 22, 1995 Bob married the former Sharene Johnson, she survives. He was previously employed as a manager for Penn Dot for 23 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Christian Church, Stoneboro and he had a strong Christian relationship with the Lord. Bob enjoyed pottery, fishing, shooting, and spending time with family.

In addition to his wife of 26 years, he is survived by two sons, Kenny Zarecky of Illinois, Seth Zarecky of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Amber Zarecky and her fiance Cameron Nastasi of Hubbard, OH; two sisters, Roberta Chuzie and her husband Ken of Grove City, Linda Brown of Florida; three brothers, David Zarecky and his wife Amy of St. Louis, MO, Doug Zarecky of Greenville, and Danny Zarecky of Lancaster, PA; an expected grandson Gianni Robert Nastasi, due January 22, 2022. He was preceded inn death by his parents.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
