Rosemary W. Jones, age 94, of College Ave., Greenville, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2021 in St. Paul's Senior Living Community.

She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 26, 1926 to Bernard A. and Rose E. (Rief) Wise. She was a 1944 graduate of Hughes High School in Cincinnati, OH. On September 23, 1946, she married Norman C. Jones in Cincinnati, OH, he preceded her in death. As a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Greenville, since 1980, she served as a trustee, and elder and since 1982, a member of the Chancel Choir. She was a volunteer in the Greenville Women's Hospital Auxiliary for sixteen years during which time she directed and modeled in numerous Auxiliary Style Shows.

Early in her business career, she was both the Administrative Assistant to the Personnel Director and Executive Assistant to the Sales Manager of the Lunkenheimer Valve Company in Cincinnati. Upon moving to Dayton, OH, soon after her marriage, she served as the Executive Assistant to the Sales Manager of the Wychoff Steel Company. Upon moving to Greenville, she began her career as the Administrative Assistant to the President and CEO of the Werner Company. During her employment at the Werner Company, she wrote and published an "Executive Assistant's Handbook" which was placed in the Library of the American Management Association in NY, NY. The handbook was also used by the office staff at the Werner Company offices in both Greenville and Chicago.

She is survived by a son, Ronald D. Jones and his wife Alexandria of Butler; three grandchildren, Ronald A. Jones and his wife Laura of Butler, Adam G. Jones and his wife Ashley of Mars, PA and Alexandria E. Gusmar and her husband Randy of Pittsburgh; five great-grandchildren, Alexandria Marie Jones, Jacob Christian Jones, Anna Jane Jones, Allison Lee Jones, and James Alexander Gusmar and a sister, Thelma E. Burt of Cambridge, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Samuel B. Wise and Henry L. Wise and two sisters, Alice J. Geiger and Elizabeth A. Calhoun.
