Ruth Ann Jones, age 91, passed away May 23, 2021 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. She was born in Greenville on December 30, 1929 to A. LeRoy Johnson and Marguerite (Hutton) Johnson.

Ruth Ann graduated in the class of 1947 from the former Penn High School in Greenville. She attended Thiel College for 2 years and then went to work at the R. D. Werner Company, in the clerical office, for 6 years.

Ruth Ann married Victor H. Jones on August 21, 1954. He proceeded her in death August 25, 2013.

Ruth Ann was a lifetime member at Hillside Presbyterian Church where she sang with the Senior Choir until age 83. She was a founding member of the Sunshine Bible Class where many lifelong friendships were formed. She belonged to the Women’s Association, helped with the youth group, served on the Board of Deacons and servers as the Church Secretary for 15 years. Ruth Ann volunteered at the Greenville Hospital Auxiliary and the Good Shepard Center for many years.

Surviving are sons Gary Jones and wife Tina, Greenville, PA; Victor Jones and wife Shannon, St. Petersburg, FL; step-daughter, Paula Marie and husband Dominick Monteleone, Butler, PA; grandson Kyle Jones and wife Heather, Cary, NC; granddaughter Lindsay (Jones) McCleary and husband David, Charlotte, NC; granddaughter Erin Browne, Butler, PA; Granddaughter Kendra Graham and husband Damon, Butler, PA; Great-Grandchildren, Hallie and Reading Jones, Henry McCleary, Chloe, Vanessa and Maddox Graham.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Reimold and niece Karen Reimold.
