Shawn Barker

Shawn M. Barker, age 58, of Church St., Sugar Grove Twp., Greenville, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Saturday, March 30, 2024 in UPMC Hamot. He was born in Wilkinsburg, PA on August 9, 1965 to the late Clyde J. and Ellen M. (Donohoe) Barker.

Shawn married the former Sarah J. Byler in June of 1995, she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Bridgette R. Barker of Greenville and her fiancé, Dylan Foley, a sister, Starr A. Smart of Greenville; three brothers, Bart J. Barker of Murrysville, Ronald M. Barker of Moon Twp. and Douglas P. Barker of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Amanda M. Barker, a brother, Thomas L. Barker and a sister, Renee B. Visniesky.

Cremation was chosen and no services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be in St. Michael Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.
